Sunday Morning Breakfast Ride

Continued the fun of getting out on our bikes by riding out the canyon trail, posting up and cooking our breakfast, gas stove and all. We fried up some BACON, cooked some eggs, sipped orange peach mango juice, coffee and of course some good ol' doughnuts. Why ride to a place and pay for your breakfast when you can ride out the beautiful glenwood canyon and cook your own. Going to start a weekly sunday morning breakfast ride departing from the one and only gearx at 9am. see ya next week!

Well last night was again super fun in Carbondale, CO if you missed it well I fell sorry for you. Not a single representative from either of the bike shops in bonedale, but five of us rode over from G'wood and tore it up, skidding, bike polo (greatest game ever!!?!!), pbr's, so sick and fun just can't believe more people didn't show - WHERE ARE YOU PEOPLE!!! GET OUT HERE, TONIGHT IS BIKE POLO (no experience necessary) IF YOU KNOW HOW TO RIDE A BICYCLE, THEN YOU'RE IN, SEE YA THERE!!!

The start of the 18 Hours of Fruita quite a site, and by far the most fun i've ever had at any bike race in my life. You must go next year Highline State Park is super cool and the six mile loop is incredible no matter what your ride is single speed, full suspension, cruiser, xtracycle, etc.

The precedent

So yah the STomparillaz Xtra Cycle race plan was formulated in MOab last year.. With a fairly unsupportive approach to team race support, i.e. a dizzy sense of unease, the Xtra cycle traveled the race course with stunning ease and thus the idea of racing it seemed only natural.. And tomorrow at midnight Stomparillaz Xtra Cycle Racin' will launch into the stratosphere, 8 person team, go time, etc. etc. so anyway.. reports shall follow.. slappy
