Jibbin' the "small" park at Buttermilk

Brian Long and I made about twelve laps of this run yesterday, it was sooo much fun, with six table-tops, a hip jump then two picnic tables, another table, then a rail and finishin with a barrel jump and final table, total of twelve jumps/jibs (with other rails/boxes on the right side of the run). We figured we jumped a gross (144) yesterday, actually probably more in the 150's cause we rolled thru the "medium" park also a couple of times. Anyway here's a couple of videos of part of the small run. niRad

Jerome's new Moots cross bike!

Jerome brought in his Moots mtb (circa 82-84ish) and needed a little conversion, he had these Mavic 700c wheels that he found in the garbage (good job) and decided to transfer this old ride into somethin' a bit more current. We added a cross fork and the good 'ol Moots Mounts for the rear brakes made the rear wheel a snap. Also thanks to Michael Hayes, as he added some brazing filler to the BB area, hence the new paint down there. Yet another super fun ride out on the streets again thanks to us!!!?!?!?!

You play polo now!

Yo fellas
Anyway, we have picked a date for the Great Mountain States Grass Polo
Tourney on March 7th in Lyons, Colorado. Hosted by Oskar Blues Brewery.
Takes place on Saturday. Teams of 3 will round robin in the morning with the
playoffs in the afternoon. Announcer for the playoffs, post tourney meal and
party afterwards. We play simple rules of no dabbing, no bike on bike
defense, and a gentleman's approach in general. Let me know if you can get a
couple teams together and spread the word. I will post more info in 1 week
on www.sswc09.wordpress.com.

Peace
Cheeney
