Well first let me say that it has been waaaaay too long since our last post but since I'm stuck in bed after having three surgeries in one day here last week I decided to try and get back on track and post some of the fun adventures I have been a part of. The pic above is from about a month or so ago on one of our lunch bike rides that we were attempting 2-3 times a week, depending on who shows up at the shop wanting to check out our local trails. Randy and I are always up for leaving the shop for a bike ride if at all possible and when Clancy came in from
Cyclepath Portland we had to jump at the chance to show him around. The day was a bit overcast but the views from atop Red Mt are always worth the climb and since the singletrack had just finished thawing out from the winter we had to ride.
Unfortunately Mt. Sopris was not visible behind Clancy but the view of the valley below is always amazing to say the least.
The ride to the cross on Red Mt is about 3.2 miles and 1700 vert or so and the beer at the top always tastes great!! Thanks to Clancy for motivating us and we hope he comes back to visit really soon.
